Alpine is not just another word for a fabric inner
Goromity and Whisperwind S have very different published configurations. Goromity lists a narrow 220 × 80 × 92 cm inner and 1645 g standard or 1870 g zippered weight. Whisperwind S lists a 220 × 150 × 100 cm inner and about 3460 g in its table. The latter is a two-person model with multiple crossing poles; it cannot be fairly judged against a solo model by grams alone.
Goromity's dome has a stated 8000 mm waterproof figure and 8000 g/m²/24 h breathability figure. Those are material claims, not proof that moisture will never condense. Its vestibule uses another material altogether. Confirm the exact configuration and seam requirements with the seller.
